The 2020-2021 GCEL, Inc. Scholarships
Scholarships Value: Four (4) Scholarships valued at $1,500 each
Application Deadline: Friday, February 20, 2021
1. Applicants must provide the following information to demonstrate eligibility for the GCEL, Inc. Scholarship:
- Submit verification of enrollment as a senior in a Georgia Title I High School for the 2020-2021 school year by a school official,
- Submit official high school transcript in a sealed envelope showing a grade point average of 2.5 or higher,
- Submit one teacher recommendation (in a sealed envelope),
- Submit one community member or an elder known to the family recommendation, (in a sealed envelope),
- Submit an essay between 500 to 1000 words stating future goals (Item 11 on scholarship application), and
- Submit proof of acceptance of enrollment to a college, university, or technical school
no later than September 30, 2021
2. Submit completed scholarship application with applicable signatures
3. Mail application package with all documents to:

The scholarship winners will be notified in writing and their winning
status will be posted on GCEL, Inc.’s official website: www.gcel.org
