Carillon

Handbells

Howard High School Carillon is an auditioned group of 12-14 ringers that ring music ranging from classical to contemporary.

Handbells have been rung in churches, schools, and communities for hundreds of years since their inception in 17th century England. Handbells are the smaller versions of tower bells. The group’s name comes from the term for a group of tower bells: a carillon.
