Program for Exceptional Children

The Program for Exceptional Children at Howard High School is committed to providing services for students who have disabilities. We:

  •  Provide a full continuum of services to students with disabilities based on individual needs.
  •  Demonstrate a commitment and dedication to ensure access to the general curriculum.
  •  Develop individualized educational programs (IEP) as determined by data collection and collaboration from team members.
  •  Use research based interventions.
  •  Encourage parent participation in the IEP team process.
