Honors and AP
Advanced Placement (AP) was a program originally implemented by elite prep schools and three Ivy League universities (Harvard, Princeton, and Yale). The program was designed to test higher level high school students for possible credit for college courses. Today over 3,000 colleges/universities in 200 countries accept the AP scores. Learn more about how Advanced Placement works at the College Board AP website.
