MISSION:
to develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community.


GOAL: instill values of citizenship, give service to the United States, develop a personal responsibility, and instill a sense of accomplishment in high school students.

The objectives of JROTC are to educate and train high school cadets in citizenship, promote community service, instill responsibility, character, and self-discipline, and provide instruction in air and space fundamentals.

The AFJROTC program is grounded in the Air Force core values of integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do. The curriculum emphasizes the Air Force heritage and traditions, the development of flight, applied flight sciences, military aerospace policies, and space exploration.

No Military Obligation:  The AFJROTC program DOES NOT subject you to a military obligation and is not tied to a recruiting program.  It provides tools for success after high school regardless of a chosen career path.  However, there are benefits available for students wishing to pursue a military career.  Benefits include college scholarships, military service academy appointments, and grade advancement for enlistees in the military services. All participation in ASVAB prep is 100% voluntary and requested by the student.
